JUNE 2015 - JUNE 2017 SKADI FOUNDATION PROGRESS REPORT PUBLISHED!
SKADI Foundation has come a long way since its inception in January 2016. Have a look at our 1st Progress Report to see how far we have come,
what our plans are for the future and meet the people who help make this all possible.
THE CALLING 2017
PHOTO AND VIDEO CHALLENGES
SKADI Foundation launched The Calling 2017 Photo and Video Challenges in March 2017.
Submissions were accepted until mid-June. Judges will choose the Top 5 submissions in each challenge along with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners.
Top prize in the Video Challenge is $5000 and top prize in the Photo Challenge is $1500. Winners will be announced at the Edmonton Snow Show in October.
The Top 5 submissions will then be shown at trade events and voted on by the people to win the People's Choice Award. The Top 5 submissions will then be uploaded to Social Media for people to vote for their favorite to win the Social Media Award.
SLED NIGHT EVENT
MOTORIZED AVALANCHE AWARENESS AND FUNDRAISER
SKADI Foundation presents SLED NIGHT a motorized avalanche awareness and fundraiser event.
There will be avalanche awareness presentations specific to motorized users by Jeremy Hanke and Brodie Evans.
Vendors in the community of Revelstoke have generously donated some sweet prizes.
Join us at the Traverse Night Club in Revelstoke on December 30, 2016 at 7pm.
Proceeds from the event go towards SKADI Foundation projects.
